Drill free bolt on kit for the Mercedes Marco Polo campervan.
A kit that requires NO DRILLING AT ALL. Starting from £399 for a complete 95W kit (produces 6 charging Amps in good summer sun with an MPPT charger). There is also the option to go for two or even three panels giving you 190/285 Watts of solar power.
Discreet installation, connects into existing Marco Polo plugs on all vans post 2014. Eariler vans (W639) use a piggy back fuse to connect to the van's power
The kit features:
- New 95W panel with built in Anti-Shading technology and crack resistance cells.
- Foam backed panel edges to protect paintwork. Black panel with black anodised aluminium frame arms.
- Standard solar cable (stored in space between tailgate and bodywork) OR, upgrade to a curly cable that self retracts when the roof is lowered.
- Easy slide-in system to your existing roof rails.
- Waterproof connector/s.
- LCD display solar regulator (we recommend the MPPT upgrade for this type of panel which you can add when ordering)
- All cables needed to connect to your leisure battery - simply plugs in the existing hookup charger - no cable cutting at all (piggyback fuse connection with the Viano W639).
- Photo instructions include step by step details on how to route the solar cable through an existing tail gate grommet for a neat installation.
- Can be used with roof bars.
The standard kit has a flat cable that is pushed into the space between the tailgate and the bodywork when the roof is down - this excess cable is required to allow the roof to lift. A new option we now offer is a stretching curly cord. No need to tuck any cable away when the roof is lowered.
