VW roof preperation rail compatible: The kit comprises of: 1x 95w ultra-thin solar panel mounted on the T5/T6 specific frame (You must have the VW T5/T6 roof rail slots fitted on your van (these are NOT included in our kit)- SWB part numbers are: 7H1860181AQZU & 7H1860182AQZU) , 1 x 10 amp LCD Display solar charger regulator, all cables, connectors, fuses, nuts and bolts and a printed step by step installation guide. (produces 6 charging Amps in good summer sun with an MPPT charger)

We've specifically created a slimline kit that slots into the VW T5/T6 roof rails with cabling that shuts in the tailgate. (or you can run it through an existing grommet in the tailgate - instructions provided)
It combines the best of both worlds - you get a slimline panel that won't take you over the height limit for French toll roads etc, but it doesn't need bonding to your roof. This is the same as the California kit, but with different mounting brackets, longer frame bars, and longer cables.
The panel measures, at it's highest point, 18mm. Beacuse the roof is curved, it acually measure less than that. If you have an awning fitted, this panel actually protrudes less in height.
